Dear Bilbo

Well I'm actually about to go out for food (food, food, wonderful wonderful stuff), but just a little entry first.

Hotmail is playing up, and is insisting that Opera is refusing cookies. When it blatantly isn't refusing cookies, as I'm logged on to 2 different message boards and my yahoo email as well. Oh, hotmail, how do I hate thee, let me count the ways...

Slightly more entertaining note, found a rather amusing (and short) LotR fic over here: http://imladris.nu/claudio/fromrohan.html . It's basically a series of postcards from Elladan whilst on the journey. Just a little quote, because I couldn't resist:

Dear Bilbo, Since I'm sure nobody else will take the time to do this, I thought I'd be the responsible one and let you know that Frodo and his friend Sam have gone off on their own for Mordor. Aragorn seems to think they'll do alright though, so I wouldn't worry too much. They passed through Lórien a while back and were equipped for the journey by my grandfather, who is rather keen on safety and likely loaded them up with all sorts of things they won't ever use. So even if Mordor is dreadful this time of year, they'll be alright. Yours, Elladan
