To Do Before I Die
Stolen from various people, including Kay and Mercurial. 50 Things To Do Before I Die. I think I'm doing quite well. At only 18 I've managed to accomplish
#1: Swim with dolphins
#9: Go on safari
#22: Bathing an elephant. (And not just any elephant, a baby elephant. Cue everyone going "awww")
#27: Experiencing a waterfall.
#30: Trekking through a rainforest.
#37: A flight over a volcano. (Well not actually. We just walked up the one in Tenerife instead, so I'm counting it.)
#39: Glacier hiking (bloody painful)
7 down, 43 to go! Although, does Eurodisney count instead of Walt Disney World? Because if that's the case then I've only got 42 to go. And it's possible I've watched orang-utans and just don't remember it, which would be #49. Hell, I don't remember the waterfall either, but I've got the picture to prove it, so it's getting checked off.
Posted by Missiedith at September 18, 2003 10:28 PMPray tell, what is "experiencing a waterfall"? Okay, I looked at the link, I still don't get it... Are they suggesting we go swimming in Niagara Falls? You'd catch a cold for crying out loud. I'm going to admire them from a safe distance.
25 years old and 0 achievements, sheesh. Tell you what, you can claim EuroDisney if I can say that Reno is just as good as Vegas.

Posted by: nayla at September 19, 2003 6:57 PMWell I went swimming in the pool underneath one in what looks like Africa, and is probably the Gambia, but then again might be Thailand... It's really hard to tell.
Swimming in Niagara Falls... guess that might be possible, if you saved it up to do as the last thing on the list. But then that would be more a kind of Thing To Do As You Die. Actually, that's a pretty good idea, I might have to go write my own top 50 version of that.
Just remembered I've done a bit of the Inca trail too. I really want to go back and do it properly, however, so I'm not counting it.
