And yes it is Pip's song. Have had it in my head for days, will probably keel over when I finally get my hands on the soundtrack.
Oh, and Pippin is amazing. Has surplanted Merry as favourite hobbit.

I believe that the lyrics are "All shall fade, All shall fade." However, others disagree with this, and say that it's "Hope shall fail, all shall fade." I know that in the book, it's "Away shall fade, away shall fade." Take your pick, I suppose they all work.

I read the text while listening to the song so this is the right text.
OK..the end of the song is 'mist and shadow, cloud and shade'..well thats just what I think and thats how I have read it before...plus it makes sense. OK well I just love that song and I have to have to find a place on the internet that has it. E-mail me (lacoiwe2@aol.com) if you have any info!!!

That song is so beautiful! I have seem LOTR: ROTK five times, and I got the DVD on the day it came out. His song is so AWESOME! That's partly why I I have seen the movie so many times and own the DVD. It makes me cry every time I hear it. It truely is Pip's song.
