Please Work

One of either 3 things has just occurred:

1. My fanheater has a secret sophisticated function that I was not previously aware of that allows it to cut out once the desired temperature is reached. (Very impressed if this is the case.)
2. My fanheater is terminally ill, and will imminently explode in my face.
3. My fanheater has suffered external interference, and I am about to be axe-murdered by the forces of the paranormal. I'm thinking Final Destination style.

[Edit]...And it's just started working again. I'm considering being very creeped out, but I think I might just stick to feeling smug and remember to try this tactic again some time.
