Back From Fusion

Just got back from Fusion, the big Buffy convention in Blackpool.

Need. Sleep.

I do indeed, but I'm feeling the need to marvel at convention partying, for these are surely the only occasions you are likely to come cross pvc-clad goths merrily joining in with the cheese on the dancefloor. Funniest sight of Sunday night has to be claimed by one of the following three:

• The largest group of Jedi Chefs I have yet encountered, all of them busily miming electric guitar play using lit-up light sabers.
• Women in togas dancing the Macarena to Bohemian Rhapsody.
• Jack Sparrow, in character, muffing up the YMCA dance.
