The Point

What's the point?

What's the point of personal blogging, specifically?

To record thoughts and reactions, to share opinions, amateurly publish material that miraculously seems to be of some interest to someone, somewhere?

Would I still bother if this whole thing was in fact incredibly well-guarded and not actually available to be read?

I've been keeping journals since I was 10, of course I would. I still keep one, it's not to be shared.

What's the point?

To stay in touch with people, to improve my writing, to learn how to articulate better and form opinions in the first place?

Do I really need a point?

If there's no point, does this entry really count as shamelessly abusing my blog?

The next piece of original writing to be done by me, "LaceOverSand: A Blog Maltreated."
