When I Stray

(Or, 5 Places I Have Been Instead Of Here)

  1. My living room. I finally bought a dvd player. Seeing as I own a 70-disc collection that I previously had no way of watching, I've been doing some catch up. Also, rediscovering scheduled tv. Star Trek Voyager, to be precise.
  2. four_lobsters is occasionally demanding. And by occasionally I mean on a daily basis.
  3. lotr_speakeasy is permanently demanding. The latest Dominic/Bill tig is what provoked my absence, as it became this compulsive thing that just had to get finished. My time continues to be consumed with the writing of a total of 6 ongoing tigs, and that's the way I like it.
  4. Gotham City. Batman rules. My new (temporary) housemate is a closet geek, I've been loaned various books and may have a crush on Catwoman. The plotbunny produced: Batman/Spiderman. I don't care about the Marvel-DC divide. If I get the time, I'm writing it.
  5. Right here. Difficult as that may be to believe, and as little evidence as I have to show for it, I have been writing quite a few blog entries. But then they get longer and longer and I feel the need to put some proper time into them, and then they just don't get written. Coming soon (hopefully): The Origin of Slugs, Cuddly Toys and Charity, a Tour Through Lotrips by 100 Memorable Fics, Being Human and Personal Responses, Hans Zimmer adulation, a Harry Potter Vignette featuring the words of Donald Rumsfeld, a novel, and much else. Well, yeah, I did include a "hopefully" there. I'm occasionally a very hopeful person.
